What’s included?
Your own haven
Coffee (or cocktails) in your terrace hammock overlooking the waves, or waking up late in your own cocoon, your Sea Terrace Balcony Suite has been designed to give you sweeping views of the horizon from the front and back zones of the ship. The high-tech mood lighting can (and will) intuitively match the light from the oncoming sunset as you glide along the open ocean. There’s plenty of room for sun salutations on the terrace, or downward facing dogs in the bedroom. Or vice versa. We’ll leave that up to you.
Day 1: Arrive in Barcelona
After landing in Barcelona, get whisked off to the port of Barcelona where you will follow the red carpet and board The Scarlet Lady.
Enjoy a delicious lunch on board before being showed to your private Sea Terrace Balcony Suite.
Say ahoy to Barcelona as The Scarlet Lady lifts anchor and start sailing towards your first stop.
This evening meet your fellow Metropolitan winners at a private cocktail party, compliments of Virgin Voyages. followed by dinner at one of the many restaurants on board.
Day 2: Marseille, France
Scarlet Lady docks in the vibrant port city of Marseille at 8am. You have the day to explore Marseille on your own. Scarlet Lady lifts anchor only at 7pm.
Marseille is an exuberantly multicultural port city with a pedigree stretching back to classical Greece and a fair claim to the mantle of France’s second city. It’s heart is the vibrant Vieux Port (old port), mast-to-mast with yachts and pleasure boats. Just uphill is the ancient Le Panier neighbourhood, the oldest section of the city. Also worth an explore is the République quarter, with its stylish boutiques and Haussmannian buildings, and the Joliette area, centred on Marseille’s totemic Cathédrale de Marseille Notre Dame de la Major.
Day 3: Cannes, France
Today, explore famous Cannes.
Glamorous Cannes sets camera flashes popping at its film festival in May, when stars pose in tuxes and full-length gowns on the red carpet. But the glitz doesn’t end there. Throughout the year, as you walk among the designer bars, couture shops and palaces of La Croisette, the wealth and glamour of this city cannot fail to impress. Admiring Ferraris and Porsches and celebrity-spotting on the chic sun lounger-striped beaches and liner-sized yachts moored at the port are perennial Cannes pastimes.
Scarlet Lady departs Cannes at 9pm.
Lunch and dinner is served on board the ship.
Day 4: At Sea
Spend the day lounging around on the ship.
For the ‘do-nothings,’ the ‘do-somethings’ and the ‘do-literally-everythings’ (you know who you are), there is something for everyone to do. From group fitness classes to relaxing around the pool to eating to your heart’s consent. The day is yours do enjoy.
Day 5: Palma de Mallorca, Spain
The capital of the island of Mallorca, Palma, is brimming with the countryside serenity you might expect from a secluded Balearic island. Spend your day biking through picturesque villages, soaking in the art of Valldemossa, or stopping off at a historic, family-owned winery. With a full day in this picturesque city you have time to explore it all
Day 6: Cruising - Ibiza, Spain
Take your time to relax, refresh and get yourself glammed up while cruising for this evening’s awards function in pulsating Ibiza.
As the ship docks, it is time to get the recognition you deserve! This is an awards dinner with a difference – chilled, laid back with feet in the sand.
Tanit Beach Ibiza is the ideal place to celebrate your success. Its refined decor, its location directly in front of the sea, excellent service & exquisite food make it the most suitable place for you to toast your achievement and to dance to the pulsating music of a local DJ.
Return to the ship after the dinner. Scarlet Lady is docked overnight in Ibiza.
Day 7: Ibiza, Spain
Wake-up in sun-soaked Ibiza.
Ibiza is not just for the all-night raver, boho-cool hippy, blissed-out beach lover. There’s more to this sun-kissed, beach-bejewelled, pine-clad island than meets the bleary eye. Step off the beaten track and discover Ibiza’s surprisingly peaceful side – a hidden hamlet, a hushed church or a secluded north-coast cove. Or roam the ramparts of Ibiza Town’s World Heritage–listed Dalt Vila to immerse yourself in the island’s rich history and heritage.
Scarlet Lady sets sail in the early evening.
Enjoy your last evening on board this magnificent vessel as you sail to Barcelona.
Day 8: Barcelona, Spain
Say adiós to the Scarlet Lady and Buena dìa to Barcelona.
You will be picked up at the port in luxury coaches and transferred to the city centre of Barcelona. Spend the morning exploring Barcelona before being transferred to the airport for your flight home. A cash allowance will be provided for lunch.
If there were only three words to describe Barcelona city centre they would be Culture, Style and Harmony. The city of Barcelona manages to cater for the demands of the modern World whilst ensuring that the new blends perfectly with the old. When you walk through the streets of Barcelona you can almost feel how the new buildings have evolved and integrated with the historic architecture.
